The Pet Product Reviews is reader-supported. When you buy a product through a link on this site, we may earn an affiliate commission — at no additional cost to you. Commissions never affect what we write, how we score products, or where they rank.

How affiliate links work

Many of the outbound links on our site are affiliate links, primarily through Amazon Associates and other affiliate programs we participate in. When you click one of these links and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale price. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone to the retailer directly.

Affiliate links on our site are routed through our own redirect endpoint (/go/…) so we can keep track of which links earn commissions — they ultimately lead to the same retailer product pages.

Our integrity commitment

Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content. Our review process is independent: we buy products at full retail price, test them hands-on, and publish results even when they are critical of a product. A product's ranking on this site is determined by our testing rubric — never by which affiliate program pays the highest rate. When two products are genuinely equivalent, we prefer the one our readers will save the most on.
